I decided to interview my gym coach for this weeks article because I believe he is a very funny person and he deserves to be in the school newspaper. I started out my interview by asking what his full name was. “Coach Dix.” He joked.

“My name is Joseph Dix, Junior.” He said. Coach Dix has been married for 11 years and has 4 step kids and 1 “full” kid. He went to school at the University of North Georgia and has been teaching for 22 years. Basketball is the only sport he coaches and he only teaches gym and health class. I also asked him to tell me about the Dancing with the Stars contest he was in.

“Yeah we did that to raise money.” He then went on about how the money was raised for four charities and how the fundraiser raised $216,000 between the 10 dancers. Sadly, he did not win the contest and got beat by a really really good young lady who was tap dancing.
