What better way to end off this season than to come together and show off how much we love our community. On Thursday October 25th, the whole East Hall Community including, Color Guard, Band, Football and Cheerleading team gathered at the East Hall Stadium to unite everyone and show how much we love and support our school. Despite the cold weather and rain the community still gathered through this to celebrate. Their“ will be a bonfire, music, and cheers as a celebration for what our school has accomplished this season.

This community pep rally was coordinated by football coordinator, Coach Patrick. This night will consist of the Viking Marching Band performing their show titled “Rise”. The cheerleading team will be bringing the spirit with their cheers while the band also performs as the football team runs through the members. This night will also consist of a bonfire for the everyone to gather around, and have a good time bringing the community together. I had the chance to talk to the cheerleading coach, Mrs. Wilbanks about why this community pep rally was coordinated.

“We hope that is pep rally will bring a sense of school pride and fellowship between everyone involved.”

All in all, we know that this is going to be a meaningful celebration for all the things we have accomplished this year such as the football team and all of their success as well as all of the hard work that has paid off for our band students. From the awards they’ve won in competition and all of the support we’ve received from each and every one of our performances. This will all come to a close once we celebrate this Thursday night.

About the Writer
Chesney Wilbanks, Staff Writer

Hi, I’m Chesney Wilbanks with the East Hall Newspaper. This is my first year at the newspaper as well as my first year at East Hall High School. You may have seen me at the football games in the Marching Band. I am in the Colorguard and am a first year marcher. This will also be my 3rd year in Tome Society. Outside of school I enjoy going to the mall with my friends. I also enjoy going to the Free Chapel Youth Group. This year I would like to write about things currently happening here. Whether that’s sports, upcoming events, or writing about my opinion, I want to write things that people are going to want to read more of.
