Graduation is slowly getting closer to our seniors and soon we will have to say goodbye to them. Before they move on to the next chapter of their life, we like to recognize the talented individuals at East Hall. This week the senior spotlight goes out to Dylan Griffin. Dylan has had an eventful year from getting best dressed for the class of 2019 to receiving the stress from handling school and a job. When asked how his senior year is going, he said,

“It has been good and bad. Good because it’s my last year here and I’m growing closer to my friends. Bad because this year has been the most stressful so far with all the work that has to be done before graduation.”

In order to make his senior year memorable, Dylan has gotten involved in many extracurricular activities. He is a member of student council, key club, anchor club, and FBLA. He has also taken on leadership positions by being the student body senior representative and secretary of The Key club. Throughout his 4 years of high school, he has been part of the East Hall Marching Band as a trumpet player and was the leader of his section this past football season.

After graduating high school, Dylan plans to attend the Savannah College of Art and Design to major in Architecture and receive his bachelor’s degree. Once those 4 years pass, he would like to attend the University of Colorado to get his master’s degree.

Senior year has been bittersweet for Dylan because he can’t wait to get out, but sweet due to all the achievements he’s made. May 24th can’t come any faster and we know Dylan will be successful wherever he goes after walking that stage.
