We all have talents. Maybe it’s singing, dancing, or acting. A never before done event has taken place in Valhalla where all of theses talents were showcased by our students and staff. You may have seen the posters along the hallways, titled “Valhalla’s Got Talent.”  ”Valhalla’s Got Talent” is East Hall’s spin on the traditional school Talent Show.

While this is a new event for East Hall we hope there are many unique talents in the halls of our school waiting to be presented. This event is open to any student who wants to showcase their talent and believes that they could take home the prize. It was expected that this event should have a good turnout for auditions. Even though not much detail is being revealed we do know that there will be a prize in store for the best talent.

It all depends on the success of the event.  The more people who come out and support the contestants, the bigger the prizes at the end of the night, said Mrs. Jordan.” The official prize has not been revealed.

Auditions for the talent show took place on January 10. Some of the acts presented were singers, dancers, musicians, as well as comedians. Economic Teacher, Mr. Black also came out to support by singing and playing guitar for his audition. There  were also group acts, one being a music group titled “Adam’s Youngmen.”

The impressing turn out for the auditions will guarantee a great turnout for the Talent Show taking place on January 17th at 7pm. If you would like to come out and show your support the talent show will be held in the PAC(Performing Arts Center) and will be $8 for students and $10 for adults. All of our students and staff are anxious for the day when these talents are to be showcased. We know all of our acts are sure to make for a great 1st annual Talent Show.
