Humans of Valhalla: Cindy Argueta

At East Hall High, we love to recognize those who go above and beyond to be an outstanding student. Being a high school student can be challenging regarding all of the things they have to face. Cindy Argueta (11) is a Dual Enrollment student, Student Council member,  hospital intern, color guard member, Vice President of NHS, chorus member, HoPe member and Co-editor and Chief of the Valhalla Newspaper. With all of that, she still manages to be a straight A student.

Cindy attends UNG on Tuesdays and Thursdays and also goes to her internship at Northeast Georgia Medical Center, Monday through Friday. With all of that, she also takes four classes at East Hall High School. In the fall, you may see her on the field twirling a flag and tossing a rifle. She has been apart of the East Hall Color Guard for two years and chorus member for six years. She has been a member of Student Council and HoPe for three years. This is her first year being Vice President of National Honors Society and Co-editor and Chief of the newspaper. She hopes to be President of NHS her Senior year and captain of the color guard team. When asked how she deals with all of it, she said,

“It can get very stressful at times, especially with my skill of procrastinating, but it’s just about knowing how to manage my time and knowing what I’m capable of .”

In her future, she plans to go to UNG and transfer to Emory University to pursue her career goal of an orthopedic surgeon. With all that she does, her outlook of completing all of this is very good. Cindy is a very successful student and continues to achieve many great goals. We can’t wait to see what else she achieves.
