Monday, March 11, 2019 kicked off the Hall County’s Golf Tournament. This year’s tournament was held at Chicopee Woods in Oakwood. Two courses were played, The Mill and The School, both torturous courses, especially when soaked.

For the first day, there was a slight delay due to a downpour that started just as teams were getting the rules read to them. Soaked and cold, the boys team headed for The Mill and the girls to The School.

“We will still play if it rains,”

Coach Buffington told us on the bus and continued to repeat as the sky’s bottom fell out.

Day two was a better day, both scores were better considering the weather. The sun was out and nobody had to use their jackets. Courses were switch, so girls played The Mill and boys played The School.

The scores for day one and day two were tallied up to a total of 397 for the girls and 466 for the boys. Individual scores have not been posted yet.
