Coach Lyn Marsh

A wide receiver and weight training coach, Lyn Marsh is a recently new teacher to East Hall High School.

“I have a passion for helping people make a lifestyle change,” he said on what he will bring to East Hall. Coach Marsh was hired as the weight training coach for East Hall High School because of the lack of coaching staff for the East Hall football team.He was brought in after the Former staff stepped down and Coach Perry was brought in as Head Coach. Following his good friends, Head Coach Michael Perry, Slot Receiver coach Tyler Perry, and lineman coach John Kemp, Coach Marsh found a position at East Hall. Coach Marsh served in the United States Air Force, where he was a competitive power lifter. From 2006-2015 Marsh was at Gainesville High school serving as a lineman and wide receiver coach, a part of the staff that won Gainesville’s first State Title in 2012. In his coaching career, he has coached many All-State players and All-Region players. Marsh also coached at Greene County Tech, witch made two playoff appearances in over 25 years. Coach Marsh has went to Arkansas State University for his BSEd in Physical Education/Health, National University for his MEd in teacher leadership, and Columbus State University for Ed leadership. Coach Marsh has 20 plus years of both strength and conditioning, making him the perfect fit for his job.

“ I followed coach Michael Perry from Centennial and Gainesville.” Coach said, on why he is at East Hall. Coach Marsh is an avid football fan outside of school and football coaching. Marsh is a Clemson fan and a Pittsburgh Steelers fan. He loves spending time with his wife, Rita. Marsh also likes to lift weights. Coach Marsh is also the conditioning coach for the football team.
