East Hall takes a 50-0 loss, but it doesnt worry them

The East Hall Vikings fought hard against Flowery Branch. “Flowery Branch is behind us, It’s all Union County from now on.” Head Coach Perry told the team after the first game of the 2019 season led to a loss for the Viking football team. The Vikings and the Falcons kicked off at 7:30 on Friday, August 23, 2019. The defense led by DT Marcus Holmberg (58) gave relentless effort in the 50-0 loss for the Vikings, while the offense led by QB Clete Cooper (5) and WR Mon Prather (3) moved the ball down field, but couldn’t get it into the end zone. “I believe we are going to make the playoffs, no doubt about it, but we have to work to reach our goal.” The defensive coordinator, Coach G told the Vikings after the game. Mon Tabor, a running back and linebacker put up the most fight out of the Vikings offense with many others close behind. Coach Michael Perry is not worried about the Vikings making it to the playoffs, but it’s a matter of who is going to give Relentless effort. Mon Prather (3) and Zion Hill (63) were injured during the game. The Vikings are only worried about Union County, and by putting the loss behind them, it will help to face bigger challenges and learn from their mistakes. The Vikings will face Union county at home Friday, August 30, 2019.
