Lindee Dupre

With the introduction of the new school year we have new staff as well. This year we have 17 new teachers in many departments. We at The Valhalla would like to thank each teacher for taking the time to talk to us and introduce themselves. Lindee Dupre is one of those new teachers and we had the opportunity to speak to her.

Q:What subject do you teach?

A:I teach Biology (10th) and Environmental Science (9th).

Q:How long have you been teaching?

A:This will be my fourth year teaching.

Q:Why did you become a teacher?

A:I had some great teachers growing up who were very supporting and loving and I want to be that sense of support and love for kids who may not receive that elsewhere. I want to inspire students to reach their full potential by working hard and discovering what they are passionate about.

Q:Why did you choose to teach at East Hall?

A:Everyone that I encountered during the interviewing process was very welcoming. I felt a sense of community and support from the moment I walked in and that was something that I was looking for.

Q:What do you do outside of school?

A:I spend most of my time outside of school with my husband, Cody, and my dog, Brooks. I also LOVE to travel more than anything!

Q:What’s something you want your students to know or an interesting fact about you?

A:I want my students to know that they can achieve whatever they work hard at, and that I am here to support them in any way that I can. I want them to find their purpose and feel empowered by the fact that they can do anything they set their mind to.
