New Teacher Feature: Carolina Navarro

Ms. Carolina Navarro is one of the new teachers at East Hall High School. She teaches Spanish 3, Native 1 and Native 2 and feels very excited since it’s her first time and opportunity to teach Spanish at East Hall High School. She is very happy to be part of the teachers that teach Spanish class. She has a learning and knowledge purpose for her students, which is to learn a little more about the culture, and how important the Spanish language is.

It has been a bit difficult for Mrs. Navarro to try to manage the different experiences that they have with the language. For her students, it is normal the way they speak Spanish in their country. It has been difficult for her, because her purpose is to let them know that there are students who speak different languages ​​in all countries. For her, being a Spanish teacher is the best thing that could happen, because she has the privilege of teaching her language. She feels very happy to know that there are students or people who want to speak her language.

The most important thing about being a good Spanish teacher for her, is to have passion for what you do, and to have a very good vocation. Her family is very happy for her, because it is an achievement to be a Spanish teacher. Her husband finds it wonderful that she teaches Spanish, and her children are very proud of her. For her, having the students she has right now, makes her feel happy since everyone shows interest in learning and being respectful. She is happy with everything she has.
